SA trio still solid at Brabazon Trophy

2016AASP_AlbertVenter_GNGUKENT, United Kingdom (24 June 2016) – South Africa’s top ranked Jovan Rebula and reigning African Amateur Stroke Play champion Albert Venter will lead the local charge into the final round of the Brabazon Trophy at the London Golf Club today.

Rebula and Venter navigated the Heritage Course with a pair of even-par 72s to grab to join reigning Sanlam SA Amateur champion Craig Ross from Scotland, among others, at one-over-par 217.

Compatriot Tristen Strydom from Ekurhuleni finished four strokes back on five over 221 after returning a third round 76.

Australian Cameron Davis carded a two under 70 to protect his overnight lead and will start the final round with a two shot edge on England’s Jamie Bower.
